Snowball Cocktail

This is a fun one I tried today from the La Florida Bar cocktail book from 1935.  The color is great, and it's a nice for a little holiday cheer.  It calls for equal parts originally, but I steppd up the gin a bit for a little kick.  Cheers!

1 ounce gin
1/2 ounce green creme de menthe
1/2 ounce parfait amour (I used creme de violette)
1/2  ounce milk

shake and strain

Holiday Cheer

Here's one I created for my fall 2011 cocktail party. It's like an apple pie white russian :-)

2 ounces apple brandy
2 ounces milk
1/4 ounce allspice dram
1/2 ounce cinnamon syrup

build over ice in old fashioned glass.

Check out the syrups section to see how you can make your own cinnamon syrup!
